Steve Law is the Executive Director of TennGreen Land Conservancy. His resume
spans over 40 years in the sector of conservation and public recreation, including
natural resource management, greenways planning and operations, strategic
conservation planning, negotiating land acquisitions, and environmental education.
He has a B.S. in Wildlife Management from the University of Maine at Orono. His
career includes creating and managing the Division of Natural Resources in Charlotte,
North Carolina (Mecklenburg County Park & Recreation), where he later served as the
County’s Real Estate Coordinator purchasing land for parks, greenways, and nature
preserves. While in North Carolina, he served as the President of Environmental
Educators of N.C., on the Board of Directors for the Catawba Lands Conservancy, and
as a member of the N.C. Natural Heritage Advisory Committee. Immediately prior to
joining TennGreen, he served as the Executive Director of Steep Rock Association, a
land trust in Washington Depot, CT.
