Physician Leadership and the Urgency of the Moment in Medicine
Dr. Patrice Harris, a child psychiatrist from Atlanta, Ga., and the first African American woman to serve as AMA president, will talk about the changing landscape of medicine, the economics of health care and highlight ways business and civic leaders can work together to improve the health of their communities and achieve greater equity across the health system. Dr. Harris also will share her personal leadership journey in medicine, including the obstacles she’s overcome, and the lessons she’s learned along the way.
