Bill Spitz is Co-founder and Director of Diversified Trust Company, an independent comprehensive wealth management firm with over $6.5 billion of client assets under management across four offices in the Southeast. Its clients include individuals, multi-generational families, family offices, foundations, endowments and retirement plans.

Previously, he served as Treasurer and Vice Chancellor for Investments at Vanderbilt University where he presided over a ten-fold increase in endowment assets, during which time its investment performance placed in the top quartile of large endowments and the top 10 percent of all endowments.

He currently serves on the Board of Directors of Mass Mutual Financial Group and Acadia Realty Trust.

Bill and his wife have three daughters and a three-year-old grandson. He spends his leisure time pursuing physical fitness and is one of the top amateur ballroom dancers in the U.S.
