The 2026 Light A Spark grant cycle is now open and will close on Friday, January 30. Whether you are returning to the program or joining us for the first time, we’re glad you’re here. Light A Spark partners with local nonprofits to provide families facing adversity with opportunities to experience music, art, theater, and other cultural activities together. Research shows these shared moments help buffer the effects of adverse childhood experiences and strengthen family bonds. When parents and children engage in enriching outings, they deepen their connection and cultivate resilience that lasts. If your organization could benefit from a Light A Spark grant, apply below!
This year, we’ve refreshed our process to better support you and the families you serve. Instead of submitting one request for a single lump sum, you’ll now complete one short application per cultural experience you hope to offer in 2026. You may submit as many applications as needed, and it’s completely fine if you do not yet know your exact event dates. What matters most is helping our team understand which approved experiences you plan to share with families in your community. As you move through the form, please don’t hesitate to reach out with any questions—we’re here to help.
