The Economic Club of Nashville Charities launched its Cultural Assistance Program in 2014. CAP partners with some of Nashville’s most vibrant cultural intuitions and several social services organizations to provide tickets to children and their families. CAP started as a simple solution to the chronic issue: How do Nashville’s less fortunate find access to our city’s exceptional cultural offerings? Nashville is home to nationally recognized Botanical Gardens, Symphony and Opera Companies, Children Theatre and of course the Country Music Hall of Fame and Museum. With the help of CAP and the Economic Club of Nashville, these doors have been swung wide open for those less fortunate among us.
ECON Charities will also continue its support of The Family Center and Cheekwood.
MISSION STATEMENT: ECON Charities will continue our historic partnerships with Cheekwood and The Family Center. In addition, ECON Charities will provide support to major cultural organizations in the Nashville and Davidson County area allowing them to give access (through tickets, memberships, or other access provisions) to lower income K-12 kids and their families to the rich cultural offerings Nashville has to offer. ECON Charities’ goal is to ensure that no child in the Metropolitan Davidson County area is unable to participate in significant creative arts experiences and education because of money.
